Publication 51 Revision: Indemnity Limit for Registered Mail

Effective January 1, 2009, the Postal Service™ is revising Publication 51, International Postal Rates and Fees, to reflect a change to the indemnity limit for Regis­tered Mail™ service. (For more information on this issue see the article titled: “IMM Revision: Special Drawing Right Values and Indemnity Limits for Ordinary Priority Mail International Parcels and Registered Mail Service,” on page 6 in this issue of the Postal Bulletin.

We will incorporate these revisions into the online ver­sion of Publication 51, which can be accessed via Postal Explorer ® at http://pe.usps.com.
