Senior Vice President, Facilities and Fleet Management
Ronnie Jarriel was named senior vice president, Facilities and Fleet Management, in September 2023. He reports to the Postmaster General and chief executive officer.
The newly created Fleet Management organization will include the Vehicle Maintenance Facility, the Vehicle Center of Excellence team, the Next Generation Delivery Vehicle group, and the contracting teams responsible for Vehicles and Delivery. Jarriel also oversees the Facilities organization.
Jarriel leads the strategy to accelerate the acquisition and deployment of the new Postal Service vehicle fleet, including the new electric vehicles and associated infrastructure in support of the organization’s strategic agenda. His team is responsible for all aspects of fleet management including design, development, acquisition and deployment of vehicles.
Jarriel is an operations and supply chain management professional with multi-industry experience, including aerospace, retail, telecommunications, medical devices and consumer packaged goods. He has a track record of accelerating growth, controlling costs and leading transformational projects. Jarriel is also known for establishing customer and supplier partnerships that produce the most effective and efficient supply management. Most recently, he served as a strategic advisor to Postal Service leadership on fleet management and electric vehicle strategy. He also served as a contractor with the Postal Service for over 10 years.
Before, Jarriel was the president of Phoenix Direct, a third-party logistics company, and held senior leadership roles at XPO Logistics and New Breed Logistics.
Jarriel has a Master of Science in accounting, a Master of Business Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Liberty University in Virginia. He is also a Certified Integrated Resource Management and Certified Production and Inventory Management professional, and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
