Seamless Onboarding Checklist

Onboarding Checklist

Per DMM section 705.22 First-Class Mail, Periodicals, USPS Marketing Mail letters/flats, and BPM barcoded flats are potentially eligible for Seamless Acceptance. Mailers must meet the following standards:

• Before enrolling in Seamless Acceptance:
• Prepare at least 90% of Eligible Volume as Full -Service.
• Prepare all other mailpieces, including basic and nonautomation, as outlined in 705.23.0.
• Meet all content and price eligibility standards for the price claimed.
• Begin onboarding to eInduction program.
• During Automated Verifications (Full-Service mailers)
• Traditional verifications will no longer be performed. Electronic verifications will be performed in conjunction with Seamless verifications. The Postal Service will work with mailer to resolve any Automated Verifications metrics above threshold including:

 

	Error Type
	Undocumented
	Delivery Point
	Nesting / Sortation (Mail Processing Equipment)
	Postage (Sampling)
	Weight (Sampling)
	Mail Characteristic (Sampling)

• The Postal Service will work with mailer to document the known undocumented process for any undocumented volume over 0.1%.
• Participate in eInduction under DMM 705.20 for DMU-verified origin entry or destination entry-drop shipments.
• Confirm CSAs, if applicable, for accuracy.

Once mailer is below all Seamless Acceptance thresholds for one calendar month the CRID is eligible to be switched from Seamless Automated Verifications to Seamless.

The Postal Service employee will set the CRID to Seamless before the end of the month prior to start date.

All traditional verifications will be discontinued on the 1^st of the effective month.

Once on Seamless Acceptance continue to monitor mail quality results and work with The Postal Service to resolve any issues.
