Birmingham, AL — Veterans Day is Sunday, November 11.

Retail services at Post Offices throughout South Florida will be closed on Monday, November 12, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

Regularly-scheduled mail delivery, Post Office Box, and caller services also will be suspended on Monday, November 12.

Express Mail is delivered 365 days a year — including Monday, November 12.

Customers requiring postal services can use a self service kiosk available at select Post Offices.  Self service kiosks accept credit and debit cards only.  They handle 80 percent of the transactions — including buying stamps, mailing a package, or shipping an urgent document — at the postal retail counter.  Many self service kiosks are available in select Post Office lobbies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In addition to self service kiosks, other alternate access options for postal services include Click-N-Ship and Contract Postal Units (CPUs), all of which can be found at www.usps.com by clicking on “Locate a Post Office.”

Regular postal services will resume on Tuesday, November 13.
