Birmingham, AL — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail services from the Fort Mitchell Main Post Office located at 802 HWY 165, Fort Mitchell, AL,   to a yet-to-be-determined location in the vicinity.

Postal officials invite the public to learn more about this relocation project at a meeting on Thursday, March 23, at 4 p.m. at the Fort Mitchell Main Post Office, 802 HWY 165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856-9998. Additionally, for 30 days after the public meeting, the public may submit written comments to the address below for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision:

A copy of the Postal Service’s letter to District 5 Commissioner Cattie Epps is posted next to a public meeting notice at the Fort Mitchell Main Post Office. The letter includes additional information on the relocation project.
