SAN ANTONIO, TX   — The U.S. Postal Service today recognized CommentSold LLC of Huntsville, Alabama for innovation and industry best practices. The company was one of 14 award winners nationwide. Awards were presented on the final day of the National Postal Forum, the largest annual trade show in the country for the mailing industry, which was held this year in San Antonio.

CommentSold LLC, a boutique and retail management platform fueling the rapid growth of today’s social commerce, was awarded the Shipping and eCommerce Innovative Award which acknowledges companies that have pushed the boundaries of the eCommerce landscape to accelerate package growth. These companies have created improved fulfillment processes, using advanced software and technological capabilities to get customers’ packages to them ahead of their competition. Each company’s use of USPS shipping products has resulted in a winning partnership that drives growth and improves the customer experience.

CommentSold’s sophisticated software allows innovative selling of clothing and accessories through Facebook and Instagram under various brands. They use technology that incorporates shipping into a seamless retail process involving automated communication that appears to the customer as personalized.

The ease-of-use was generating huge growth for CommentSold, but shipping was unreliable and not transparent. CommentSold was using a last-mile delivery service and was unhappy with the performance and tracking capabilities. USPS demonstrated the value of Priority Mail, which would improve transit time and visibility. CommentSold successfully tested Priority Mail and shifted 600,000 packages to USPS.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
