Birmingham, AL — Following a community meeting and U.S. Postal Service review of all public feedback, the Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate retail services from the Mountain Brook Post Office, 2701A Culver Rd, Mountain Brook, AL 35213 to a new yet-to-be determined nearby location.

The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were provided to our customers at the Mountain Brook Post Office. The Postal Service encourages customers to transact postal business at the Crestline Post Office, 3900 Montclair Rd, Birmingham, AL 35213 until a replacement facility in Mountain Brook, AL is open and operating as a Post Office.

While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the Mountain Brook community, the Postal Service properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
