Muscle Shoals, AL — The U.S. Postal Service implemented a temporary suspension of the Muscle Shoals Post Office, located at 2350 Avalon Ave, Muscle Shoals, AL 35661 until further notice due to unsafe conditions.   

For customer convenience, a retail van will be set up in the parking lot for cash-only postal transactions. Customers with proper identification also may pick up their Post Office Box mail from the retail van. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for retail services, extended hours 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for Post Office Box mail pick up and Saturday 8:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Closed Sunday.

Customers also may conduct retail transactions at the Tuscumbia Post Office located at 599 Highway 72 West, Tuscumbia, AL 35674. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Mail delivery will not be impacted by this temporary suspension.
