Two Little Rock Area Post Offices Open This Sunday

Extended Monday Hours for Busiest Mailing Day

Little Rock, AR — The U.S. Postal Service has announced two Little Rock Post Offices will open for retail business Sunday, December 15th.

Arkansas District Manager, Robert Carr, said customers should deposit their mail in the blue mail boxes as soon as possible this holiday season.

"Since Monday is the busiest mailing day of the year, we are opening two offices on Sunday, December 15th to assist our customers with their mailing needs,” Carr said. "Getting your mail to us as soon as possible will help us process and deliver your holiday mail on time."

The Postal Service is opening the two select Post Offices in the Little Rock area on Sunday, December 15th to help customers beat the Monday rush. Retail lobby hours on Sunday at the following locations will be from 12:00 noon – 4:00pm.

The Central AR Post Offices offering extended retail hours on Monday, December 16th are as follows:

72223 Chenal Station 815 Technology Dr Little Rock AR Mon 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
72116 Parkhill Station 4601 John F Kennedy Blvd NLR AR Mon 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Revised hours will be posted at each Post Office and commercial customers are asked to check with their business mail entry units for specific information regarding holiday hours of operation.

In observance of the holidays, Post Offices will be closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Only Priority Mail Express will be delivered on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day in most areas. All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
