LITTLE ROCK, AR — As the clean-up continues in the Vilonia area from the devastating April 27th F-4 tornado, the U.S. Postal Service is continuing with its efforts to service customers in all impacted areas.
The Postal Service has placed a modular unit for retail operations and temporary Post Office Boxes for customers that previously rented PO Boxes.
The location of the temporary site is at the Vilonia Post Office, 8 S Church St.
Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 12 pm/1 pm – 4 pm. Saturday 9:15 am – 11 am. No access to the lobby will be available after retail window hours.
Carriers will deliver mail in locations where it is safe to operate and mail receptacles are available, however, mail for customer locations that can’t be accessed safely or with no mail receptacle will be available at the Vilonia modular unit for pickup with proper photo ID.
As previously stated by the Arkansas District Manager David Camp, “Our aim is to be a good neighbor and help our community in its time of greatest need.”
