MIDWAY, AR — Last week, the lobby of the Midway Post Office, located at 323 Highway 178 W, Midway, AR 72651, was vandalized and operations will be temporarily suspended at this location until further notice. At this time, customers may pick up their mail and obtain retail services at the nearby Mountain Home Post Office, located at 975 Coley Dr., Mountain Home, AR 72653. Normal business hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and closed Sunday.
Until repairs at the Midway Post Office are completed, alternate retail services and mail service for Post Office Box customers with ZIP Code 72651 will initially be provided during normal business hours at the Mountain Home Post Office. Customers do not need to complete a change of address form.
The Postal Service regrets any inconvenience to its customers and will work to restore operations for this office as soon as possible. Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s website at www.usps.com to get the location of other nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
