MIDWAY, AR — The Midway Post Office, located at 323 Highway 178 W, Midway, AR 72651, resumed full operations on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Post Office operations were temporarily suspended on June 20 following a vandalism incident, and remained suspended until repairs could be made to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
The Postal Service regrets any inconvenience to our customers as a result of this incident and sincerely appreciates our customers’ patience and understanding during the repair process.
The Midway Post Office will host a Customer Appreciation Day on Monday, June 16. The community is invited to attend the event, which will be held in the post office lobby from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Postal customers can meet and greet their local postal staff. USPS representatives will be on hand to sign customers up for the exciting new free service, Informed Delivery. Refreshments will be served.
“Our Customer Appreciation Day celebration is a small way of thanking our customers for their loyalty,” said Midway’s Administrative Postmaster David Fisher, of Mountain Home. “We sincerely value our customers’ business, and we will continue to show our appreciation, year-round.”
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
