ROSIE, AR — Following a community meeting and U.S. Postal Service review of all public feedback, the Postal Service has made a final decision to relocate retail services at the Rosie Post Office from its previous location at 39 Capshaw Rd., Rosie, AR 72571, to a new, yet-to-be determined nearby location.
The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the former location. Services at the Rosie Post Office were suspended on an emergency basis due to fire damage of the building and were temporarily relocated to the Oil Trough Post Office, 209 Main St., Oil Trough, AR 72564, and will remain there until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office.
While the Postal Service is sensitive to the impact of this decision on its customers and the Rosie community, the USPS properly considered community input and this decision is consistent with Postal Service objectives.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
