QUEEN CREEK, AZ. – Postmaster Rodrigo Sotomayor invites Postal Service customers from the Queen Creek and San Tan Valley communities to join him from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, for a Customer Appreciation Day event at the Queen Creek Post Office, 22424 S. Ellsworth Loop, in Queen Creek.
The event will include free refreshments and a drawing for door prizes.
In addition, USPS representatives will offer demonstrations of several Postal Service products and online services, including the popular “Click-N-Ship” service that allows printing of mailing labels and postage – and arranging of free carrier package pickup – from any computer with an internet connection.
Also, customers who own small businesses will learn details about the USPS’s Every Door Direct Mail service, which provides an inexpensive way for local shops and other businesses to promote their offerings in specific geographic areas via the mail.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
