Company Puts Letter Carrier on its First Direct Mail Piece

Mortgage Company says Every Door Direct Mail Works

March 22, 2012

MORGAN HILL, CA — Pacific Coast Mortgage Company of Morgan Hill was looking for a way to save money while advertising their mortgage business. Little did they know that their letter carrier would deliver the solution. Morgan Hill letter carrier Kino Betancourt told them it’s all in how you use the mail, and in this case, Every Door Direct Mail.

The company was put in contact with the Postal Service Business Solutions Specialist Patty Clark, who explained the benefits of Every Door Direct Mail, providing details on size requirements, minimum pieces to mail to qualify, and tips on mail preparation.

Pacific Coast Mortgage wanted to reach the nearly 5,000 residents on the eastside of Morgan Hill. And David Schuman, Managing Broker at Pacific Coast Mortgage Company, wanted his piece to be incredible, so he put a picture of Betancourt on the cover dressed as the “Incredible Hulk,” using an old Halloween photo.

“Our mail carrier introduced us to Every Door Direct Mail,” said Schuman, “and because of him we are going to save thousands of dollars in marketing and advertising costs. I thought he should know how much we appreciate him.

"Every Door Direct Mail helps to facilitate small business success. Our company will save money on direct mail marketing by doing it ourselves and in half the amount of time,” he said. “The savings are incredible and the response rate is far superior than any other form of marketing we have done. The value is amazing; cost is incredible, ease of use...simple."

Every Door Direct Mail is designed for small businesses. For less than 15 cents a piece, customers can send fliers, menus, brochures and advertisements in highly targeted ways. The Web tool is free and easy to use, enabling restaurants, doctors’ offices and other small businesses to map their coverage areas online, allowing them to zero in on the streets and neighborhoods they want to reach.
