COULTERVILLE, CA —The Post Office has a proud tradition in Coulterville dating back to 1854. On Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at 11:00 am, Sandy Rose will continue in that tradition when she raises her right hand to take the official oath of office at the Coulterville Post Office located at 5008A Main Street, Coulterville, CA 95311. The oath of office will be administered by Manager Post Office Operations Bobbi Riley.
Rose began her Postal Service career in 1998 as a part-time flexible distribution window clerk in the Sacramento Postal District. She was selected to her first management position in 2007 as Postmaster of Stonyford, CA, where she was the postmaster prior to being selected as the Coulterville Postmaster.
“As the Postmaster of Coulterville, I would like to create a cohesive community, built on trust and service and reliability,” said Rose.
Rose resides in Coulterville with her husband, Roman, 42, and their daughter, Kendall Rebele-Rose, 14. She enjoys watching her daughter’s rodeo events and chauffeuring her to various horse events.
As Coulterville Postmaster, Rose oversees four employees who process and deliver daily mail volume of more than 1,428 pieces to 1,200 delivery points (addresses), two rural routes and 350 Post Office Boxes, six days a week.
