U.S. Postal Service to hold Community Meeting to Discuss the Consolidation of the Mission Valley Postal Store with nearby Linda Vista Station

SAN DIEGO, CA — The U.S. Postal Service will hold a community meeting to discuss the consolidation of the Mission Valley Postal Store with the Linda Vista Station which is approximately 2.6 miles away.  The meeting will take place at the Riverfront Post Office, 2600 Camino del Rio North, San Diego, CA on July 30, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.  The public is invited to attend the meeting and provide feedback on the consolidation.

In recent years, the Postal Service has undertaken a number of initiatives to reduce costs and address its financial challenges. As part of those efforts, the Postal Service believes it can reduce costs considerably by consolidating operations with nearby, existing facilities.
