Pacifica Post Office to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

PACIFICA, CA — The current Pacifica Post Office, located at 50 West Manor Drive, opened its doors to the public on Nov. 3, 1963 and to mark the occasion, the Post Office is hosting an open house on Friday, Nov. 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The celebration will begin with a short presentation at 11 a.m. by Postmaster Ted Viray and other officials to introduce the Pacifica Post Office commemorative 50th anniversary postmark. Following the presentation, Viray will be available in the lobby to meet Pacifica Post Office customers. A short behind-the-scenes tour will also be available.

The celebration will continue on Saturday, Nov. 2 when the Pacifica Post Office will host a Passport Fair from noon to 3 p.m. Customers will have an opportunity to apply for or renew a passport without first having to make an appointment.
