SACRAMENTO, CA — The Downtown Plaza Station Post Office at 560 J Street, Suite 165, Sacramento CA 95814 will be moving to a new location in the Downtown Plaza Mall over the Memorial Day weekend.  The new location is 660 J Street, Suite 170, Sacramento CA 95814, next to 24-Hour Fitness.

In preparation for the move, the Downtown Plaza Station will close at 5:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014. No postal services will be available at this location after this date. The new Downtown Plaza Station will open for business on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 with new hours of operation.

Retail Service hours at the new Downtown Plaza Station:

Monday through Friday:  10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed Saturday and Sunday

PO Box access at the new Downtown Plaza Station:

Monday through Friday:   6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday:                         8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed Sunday

Post Office Box customers will retain the same PO Box numbers and ZIP Code. The management and staff of the Downtown Plaza Station look forward to serving customers at the new location starting on Tuesday, May 27.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
