WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — The last day of operation for the West Hollywood Post Office at 820 N. San Vicente Blvd. will be Thursday, July 3, 2014. The Retail lobby will close at 5 p.m. and the Post Office (P.O.) Box lobby will close at 6 p.m. that day.

The West Hollywood Post Office will be closed on Friday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday, and also closed on Saturday, July 5, to facilitate the move to the new location.

The West Hollywood Post Office will open in its new location at 458 N. Doheny Dr. on July 7, 2014, with the P.O. Box lobby opening at 6 a.m. and the retail lobby opening at 9:00 a.m.
Services and retail hours remain the same at the new location: Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

P.O. Box customers will have the same P.O. Box number and ZIP Code. The new location will offer 24-hour access to P.O. Box mail and a Self Service Kiosk to buy stamps and mail items after retail hours.

A Self Service Kiosk will remain at the 820 N. San Vicente Blvd. location, providing customers nearby a place to purchase postage, ship packages and deposit mail.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Alternate locations for retail service on Saturday, July 5, include:

Beverly Hills Post Office, 325 N. Maple Dr. - Saturday hours: 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Cole Station, 1125 N. Fairfax Ave. – Saturday hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations and facilities.
