MERCED CA — Located in the same federal building that houses Immigration & Naturalization Consultants, the TV Bell Postal Station provides an affirmative aspect for the community with full-service passport services. The office at 415a W. 18th Street, Merced CA 95340 is open Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In addition to adequate parking, there is a bi-lingual Spanish-speaking passport acceptance clerk.

Application forms, information on the costs and how to apply for a passport book and/or passport card can be found at usps.com/passportor travel.state.gov/passport. U.S. citizens also may obtain passport information by phone, in English and Spanish, by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at 1-(877) 487-2778.Customers also can email their inquiries to NPIC@state.gov.

While getting the required photo for the passport, customers will find a safe way to carry their passport with a USPS Passport Wallet. These fashionable wallets, available in black or brown leather, can be purchased at the retail counter. They allow everything important to be carried in one place – including passport, cash, another ID, and up to seven credit cards. The wallets are available at passport acceptance offices and at usps.com/shop.

If customers have questions about the status of their passport applications, they should visit passportstatus.state.gov/opss. The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
