Amezcua Insurance Services, 7 N. Hebbron Ave., Salinas, CA 93905 became its first VPO on July 25.

VPOs are usually located in established businesses, giving them the added advantage of providing customers convenient access to the Postal Service products and services used most often by consumers.
Adding Postal Service products and services, like Forever stamps, mailing prepaid packages and getting free Priority Mail Flat-Rate package supplies, is a bonus for Amezcua’s customers since the business is a Bill Payment Center, making it convenient for customers to mail their bills, notarized documents, taxes and insurance papers.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
