FAIRFIELD, CA — On Sept. 10, the U.S. Postal Service and Northern California mailers will meet in Fairfield for National Postal Customer Council (PCC) Day. This annual gathering, this year themed Stronger Together, brings business mailers and Postal Service representatives together to promote the value of mail, address mailing concerns, share viewpoints and offer networking and educational activities.
The Northern California National PCC Day meeting will take place at Courtyard by Marriott, 1350 Holiday Lane, Fairfield, CA, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. National PCC Day Meeting registration is still open by going to sanfranciscopcc.com.
USPS Pacific Area Vice President Dean Granholm will be joined by Dr. Ernie Bodai, pioneer of the Breast Cancer Research Stamp, as the keynote speakers. Several educational seminars are also being offered including: Package Shipping / Cubic Pricing, Direct Mail Mobile Technology, Intelligent Mail Package Barcode (IMpB), and a special presentation by the Postal Inspection Service on Strategic Leadership.
The Postal Customer Council consists of Postal Service leaders and business mailers, government agencies and businesses that use the mail to grow their businesses. The PCC works together to promote the value of mail, address mailing concerns and exchange ideas to maximize the benefits of Postal Service products, programs, and services.
This year’s National PCC meeting is being hosted by the Greater Northern California PCCs including: Sacramento, Bay-Valley, San Francisco, North Valley, Fresno and San Jose.# # #
