PARADISE, CA — Whether it’s gas, groceries, coffee, or fishing and hunting supplies, customers can now add postage to the list when they come in to the Country Club Market at 5531 Pentz Rd., Paradise CA 95969.  On Friday, October 17, 2014, at 4:30 PM, customers are welcome to join owner Rai Mahi and postal officials in a ribbon-cutting ceremony as the market becomes a Village Post Office (VPO).

Mahi is excited to be the first VPO in Paradise. He believes providing Forever stamps and Priority Flat Rate postage will add another needed service for his customers and the entire community.

Customers are able to purchase Forever Stamps, drop off prepaid mail and packages and pick up Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes and envelopes.  The convenience for customers is that many VPOs offer expanded business hours, including Sundays and holidays.

Village Post Offices are normally located in non-Postal Service establishments — such as an existing community business, town hall or government center — and are run by someone other than an employee of the Postal Service.

Manager of Post Office Operations Tina Hopkins and Paradise Postmaster Talisyn Hodson will join Mahi in the grand opening ceremony.
