PASADENA, CA — The Pasadena Post Office, located at 600 Lincoln Avenue, will be open with full retail service on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through Dec. 21 to make it easier and more convenient for customers to get those holiday packages shipped.

“We are geared up for the holidays and doing everything we can to provide excellent service,” said Pasadena Postmaster George Morris.

The Postal Service is also expanding operations to include delivering packages in Pasadena on Sundays during December.

“It’s all about customer service and convenience — especially during our busiest time of year,” said Morris. “Our goal is to exceed the high standard of service we set last year by delivering on our promise of timely, affordable, and trackable delivery for our customers.”

The Pasadena Post Office also provides service after hours at self-service kiosks, where customers can weigh mail, ship packages and buy stamps with a credit or debit card.

And at usps.com customers can shop and ship from their home or office anytime of the day or night. Millions of customers will skip the trip to the Post Office altogether and take advantage of convenient online shipping this holiday season at usps.com. Click-N-Ship and other online services allow customers to print shipping labels, order free Priority Mail boxes, purchase postage and even request free next-day Package Pickup.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
