The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has opened a new Mega Passport Office at the Glendale Post Office, located at 313 E. Broadway  in Glendale. This new 1,500 square foot unit is separate from the retail lobby and has additional staffing and expanded hours to make it easy and convenient to apply for a U.S. passport.

There is no appointment required. Walk-in hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is closed on Sunday and Thursday.

The Postal Service has the products and services needed to submit a passport application. Services for an additional fee at this new Mega Passport Office include passport photos taken onsite and document photocopy service. Expedited processing is also available, including Priority Mail Express delivery of the passport, with tracking and insurance.

The U.S. Department of State issued 13.5 million passports and passport cards last year. It’s best to apply for your passport early, at least several months before a planned trip.
