U.S. Postal Service Opens Passport Acceptance Office

Expanded hours and full range of services makes it easy and convenient to apply for a passport

VICTORVILLE — For the convenience of residents of Victorville and the high desert who may be traveling abroad soon, the Victorville Post Office has opened a new passport acceptance office with expanded hours to make it easy and convenient to apply for a U.S. passport.

Passport acceptance hours at the Victorville Post Office are Monday from11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. It is closed on Sundays.

Victorville Post Office is located at 16333 Greentree Blvd. in Victorville.

Appointments are suggested and walk-ins welcome on first come, first serve basis upon availability.

The Postal Service has the products and services needed to submit a new passport or renewal application. Services for a fee include passport photos taken onsite, passport application acceptance and photocopy service. Expedited processing is also available, including Priority Mail Express delivery of the passport, with tracking and insurance.  

The U.S. Department of State issued 13.5 million passports and passport cards last year. It’s best to apply for your passport early, at least several months before a planned trip.
