SACRAMENTO, CA — The Postal Service is cooking up a feast with the dedication of the Forever Hearts stamps at a food tasting event at the Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts on Friday, February 6, 2015, 12noon, at 2450 Del Paso Rd, Sacramento, CA 95834.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, the newest Love stamps provide a sugar-free, fat-free, zero-calorie substitute for food lovers.  The two Forever Hearts stamps each feature lacy letters that form the shape of a heart and spell out the word “Forever.” One design has red lettering on a white background; the other is reversed.

To add to the flavor of the event, the previously issued Celebrity Chefs Forever Stamps, honoring James Beard, Julia Child, Joyce Chen, Edna Lewis and Edward (Felipe) Rojas-Lombardi, will be on display. By integrating international ingredients and recipes with American cooking techniques and influence, these chefs introduced new foods and flavors to the American culture.  The students from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School will prepare samples of the cuisines the celebrity chefs where known for.
