Bay-Valley Postal District Does Not Take a Holiday for Business Mailers

Business Mailers Can Drop Off Mail at Post Offices, Request Pickups

OAKLAND, CA — On Monday, May 25, the Memorial Day Holiday, small and large business customers with multiple pre-paid parcels can drop off their packages at the back dock of most district Post Offices or arrange for a pick-up service from their local Post Office on the Memorial Day Holiday. Customers can go online to usps.com to find USPS locations and/or schedule a pick up.

In the East Bay, Post Offices include:  Alameda, Antioch, Benicia, Berkeley Delivery Unit (1150 8th Street, Berkeley), Berkeley-Elmwood, Berkeley-Station A, Brentwood, Byron, Concord, Clayton, Danville, El Cerrito Annex, Fairfield, Fremont Main, Fremont Irvington, Fremont Delivery Unit (4260 Business Center, Fremont), Hayward Main, Hayward Castro Valley, Lafayette Annex, Livermore Annex, Martinez, Moraga, Napa, Newark, Oakland-Airport Station, Oakland-Civic Center, Oakland-Emeryville, Oakland-Piedmont, Oakland-West Grand, Pittsburg, Pleasanton, Richmond Hilltop, Rodeo, Saint Helena, San Leandro, San Ramon, Union City, Vallejo Springtowne, and Walnut Creek.

In the South Bay, Post Offices include:  Aptos, Campbell, Cupertino, Gilroy, Hollister, Los Gatos Main PO, Marina, Milpitas, Monterey, Morgan Hill, Salinas, Santa Clara (Sanchez Annex), Santa Cruz PO, Saratoga, SJ-Almaden Valley, SJ-Bayside, SJ-Berryessa, SJ-Blossom Hill, SJ Cambrian Park, SJ-Foothill, SJ-Robertsville Station, SJ-Seven Trees Station, SJ-St James Park, SJ-Willow Glen Station, and Watsonville.

While mail processing will be fully operational, there will be no retail services, blue collection box pickup or mail delivery on Memorial Day.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
