MISSION HILLS, CA — The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has approved the relocation of Mission Hills Station Post Office from 15305 Devonshire Street to 10919 Sepulveda Blvd.

This relocation is due to the expiration of the lease at the current location and pending redevelopment of the site. The Post Office will remain open at the current location until construction is complete at the new location. The move is planned to take place mid-November 2015.

The new location is an existing Postal Service facility less than one mile away that does not presently offer retail services. A new retail lobby will be built and the same services offered. Post Office Box service will be relocated with no change to box holders’ addresses.

A public meeting was held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at the Los Angeles Police Department Mission Division Community Room. All public comments and appeals were carefully taken into consideration before this final decision was rendered.

USPS does not receive tax dollars for its operations or facilities, but covers costs solely through the revenue received from the sale of its products and services.
