In 2001, she worked as a relief supervisor of customer service at the Napa Post Office. In 2008, Hicks graduated from the Associate Supervisor Program and was promoted as customer services supervisor in Benicia, CA. She also held Officer-in-Charge assignments in Benicia and the St. Helena Post Offices.

Hicks said, “As the new Saint Helena Postmaster, I will continue the great tradition of those who came before me in providing excellent service to our customers.”
