CENTURY CITY, CA ― After a public meeting held July 22, 2015, and careful review of all written comments received, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has decided to relocate retail services previously housed at Century City Mall Station, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 168 to a new location to be determined.
During the public comment period, there appeared to be a consensus that it was important to maintain a Postal Service retail presence in that part of the community.
The lease at the Century City Mall expired in August 2015 and was not renewed due to extensive remodeling taking place at the Mall. The postal location in the Century City Mall suspended operations on Aug. 28, 2015. The Postal Service’s goal is to locate and establish a new customer service location as close to the previous site as possible.
USPS does not receive tax dollars for its operations or facilities, but covers costs solely through the revenue received from the sale of its products and services.
