Surge in Parcels Expected on Peak Mailing Day at San Bernardino Processing & Distribution Center

What:

Customers are expected to bring in 612 million pieces of mail to Post Offices around the country on Monday, Dec. 14. An enormous parcel spike is expected to be part of that at the San Bernardino mail processing center.

The San Bernardino Processing & Distribution Center at 1900 W. Redlands Blvd., Redlands, CA 92423, has an automated package processing system (APPS) and a brand new small parcel sorting system (SPSS) to help handle an expected 15 percent or more increase in packages on the peak mailing day this year compared to last.

When:

Monday, Dec. 14, catch customers doing their mailing during the day in Post Office lobbies. 
Monday, Dec. 14, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., catch the APPS and SPSS in full operations.
