The Passport locations have trained staff and expanded hours to make it easy, expeditious and convenient to apply for a U.S. passport.
The availability of Postal Service products like Priority Mail Express with tracking and insurance and photos and photocopies add to the relaxed atmosphere of the centers, which are designed like travel agencies, complete with posters featuring international destinations. These locations are conveniently located and are dedicated to making the passport process quick, easy and convenient.
The U.S. Department of State has issued over 15 million passports and passport cards so far this year. It’s best to apply for a passport early, at least several months before a planned trip.
