VALLEJO, CA — Now, when customers come in for legal document services at A-1 Document Help, they will find more service options to their liking when the business becomes a Village Post Office (VPO) on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in a 11:00 AM grand opening ceremony.
Postal officials will celebrate the occasion with business owners Carlo and Eliza Perez at A-1 Document Help, 1626 Tennessee St., Vallejo, CA 94590.
Carlo and Eliza Perez opened A-1 Document Help four years ago. When Perez learned about the Village Post Office concept, he felt it would be a perfect fit for his business and his customers, plus bring added foot traffic to his business. “I am looking forward to providing my customers with another location for them to conduct postal business,” said Perez.
Customers are able to purchase Forever Stamps, drop off prepaid mail and packages and pick up Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes and envelopes. A valued convenience for customers is that many VPOs offer expanded business hours.
A-1 Document Help is open Mon. to Fri. 10:00 a.m. to 6 :00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Village Post Offices are normally located in non-Postal Service establishments – such as an existing community business, retail stores and gas stations – and are run by someone other than an employee of the Postal Service.
