SAN JOSE, CA — The Bay-Valley District of the United States Postal Service is hosting a free workshop to help job applicants navigate the www.usps.com/careers online process, including a description of existing job openings.
The workshop will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at10:00 a.m. at the San Jose Processing and Distribution Center, 1750 Lundy Avenue, San Jose, CA 95101.
The Bay-Valley postal district has immediate openings for City Carrier Assistants, Mail Handlers, Custodians, Tractor Trailer Operations, Motor Vehicle Operations, Maintenance Mechanics and Auto Technicians.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV 2-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
