VALLEJO — A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at 1 p.m., at the new Vallejo Main Post Office lobby at 2635 Napa Street, Vallejo, CA, to gather public input for a suitable location to replace the earthquake-damaged Amador Street Post Office.
The Post Office at 1015 Amador Street that served the downtown area was closed because of the severe earthquake damage and retail service was relocated to a facility at 629 Marin Street on an emergency-lease basis.
The “emergency” Post Office on Marin Street will be considered as a permanent location.
Customer input on this proposed relocation is welcome. Written comments are being accepted through 30 days after the public meeting. Please submit written comments to:
