What:

Customers are expected to bring in 611 million pieces of mail to Post Offices around the country on Monday, Dec. 19. A heavy package volume, more than 30 million packages, representing a 12% increase from last year, is expected to be part of that total, and the National Distribution Center is expected to process 325,000 packages on the peak day.

When:

Monday, Dec. 19, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., catch the action of automated parcel sorting in full operation
