COOL, CA – On Friday, April 28, 2017 Lisa Craviotto will follow a proud tradition dating back when Benjamin Franklin was the first Postmaster General of the United States.
Craviotto will raise her right hand to take the official oath of office as the new Cool Postmaster at a 10:00 a.m. ceremony at Cool Post Office, 1020 Northside Drive, Cool, CA 95614. Post Office Operations Manager Cheri Valdivia will administer the official oath of office.
Craviotto began her U.S. Postal Service career in 2007 as a relief postmaster. Prior to this appointment, she was postmaster in Coloma, CA, and Lotus, CA.
“I am extremely proud to be chosen as the new postmaster for Cool,” Craviotto said. “I want to provide a clean, fun and positive environment not just for the community, but for all my employees as well.”
Craviotto enjoys being a mom to five-year old daughter, Olivia. She also loves helping out with community events such as Easter egg hunts and volunteering at Northside Elementary School.
As Cool Postmaster, Craviotto oversees on average, 10,000 pieces of daily mail deliveries which include mail delivered to 644 Post Office boxes. Craviotto also manages six employees.
