SAN RAFAEL, CA — Interested in launching a new career? Want to work for the United States Postal Service but don’t know where to begin? To make it easier for job applicants, the San Francisco postal district is hosting two free workshops to provide instruction on how to complete the application process and take our entry level exam, including how to navigate the www.usps.com/careers online application process on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at the following locations and times:

At 11:00 a.m., San Rafael Post Office, 40 Bellam Blvd., San Rafael, CA 94901

At 1:00 p.m., North Bay Processing & Distribution Center, 1150 North McDowell Blvd., Petaluma CA 94999

Now is your opportunity to learn. The United States Postal Service is hosting a free workshop The one-hour workshop will teach you about USPS career options. You will meet Postmasters, hear their stories, learn what is included on the exam, and gain from numerous tips we will share. All participants will receive a free guidebook on Postal Service Test 473.

Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV 2-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
