SAN DIEGO — The Carmel Mountain Ranch Post Office, 11251 Rancho Carmel Drive, will extend its hours to accommodate customers who still need to ship those last-minute holiday gifts and cards.
Beginning December 9 through December 21, the office will be open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
“For those last-minute mailers who want to make the Priority Mail deadline, we’re extending our retail hours at the Carmel Mountain Ranch location,” said Christine Carmichael, Marketing Manager for the San Diego District of the U.S. Postal Service. “Friday, Dec. 22 is the deadline for Priority Express – our premier overnight service.”
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
