Background: |
Operation Santa is a letter-adoption program enabling members of the public, charitable organizations and businesses to respond to children’s letters addressed to Santa Claus. Los Angeles’s Operation Santa program opens to the public on December 5 and runs through December 14. Potential “elves” can adopt letters Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Individuals, organizations and businesses will be asked to provide valid identification and sign an official Operation Santa organization or individual participation form before accessing letters for adoption. |
