VALLEJO, CA — Effective Monday, February 5, 2018 through March 3, 2018, the postal station at 629 Marin St., Vallejo, will be closed as work is conducted on renovations and expansion. Once the work is complete, the Marin St. facility will become a permanent Post Office, complete with retail and PO Box service.
While work is conducted, PO Box customers from the Marin St. facility will get their mail at the Vallejo Main Post Office at 2635 Napa St., Vallejo, CA 94590. PO Box mail will be available at the Mail Pickup Window during regular retail hours. Proper identification is required.
Regular retail hours at the Napa St Main Post Office are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., M-F, and on Saturday, 9:00 a.m.to 1:30 p.m.
Retail service is also available at the Springstowne Station, 100 Admiral Callahan Ln, Vallejo 94591, with business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
