LONG BEACH, CA — On Monday, March 19, 2018, the Long Beach Post Office, 2300 Redondo Ave., will move to a new location within a mile from the existing office.

All retail, Post Office Box services, carrier delivery operations and the Passport Center will move to Signal Hill Station, 2371 Grand Ave.

Post Office Box customers will have until 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 16 to retrieve mail from the current location. The office will be closed and inaccessible to customers after that time.

Beginning Monday, March 19th at 6:00 a.m., Post Office Box customers will be able to pick up mail at the new location, which has ample parking in front of the building. There will be no change to P.O. Box customer numbers, address or keys.

Business hours at Signal Hill Station are as follows:

Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Closed Saturday and Sunday.

P.O. Box Lobby:
Monday – Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Closed Sunday

The move was originally scheduled to occur on March 5th but due to some infrastructure issues USPS wanted to address before vacating the old site, the date was pushed back to March 19th.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars to fund its operations and facilities.
