COULTERVILLE, CA — On Thursday, March 15, 2018, Cady Richardson will follow a proud tradition dating back when Benjamin Franklin was the first Postmaster General of the United States.
Richardson will raise her right hand to take the official oath of office as the new Coulterville Postmaster at a 1:00 p.m. ceremony at the Coulterville Post Office, 5008 A Main Street, Coulterville, CA, 95311. Post Office Operations Manager Sal Cardinal will administer the official oath of office.
Richardson began her U.S. Postal Service career in 2005 as a Sales & Services Associate in Groveland, CA. In 2017, she began her management career supervising carriers and clerks.
“I am extremely proud to be chosen as the new Postmaster for Coulterville,” Richardson said. “I will strive to continue to provide the excellent customer service that Coulterville is known for and to be a leader and advocate for our community.”
Richardson enjoys kayaking, gardening and hiking. She has two sisters, her twin, Cassandra, and Annie. Her parents are Arlen and Cathy Richardson.
As Coulterville Postmaster, Richardson oversees over 1,200 rural and highway contract daily mail deliveries and on average over 1,000 pieces of mail delivered to 308 Post Office boxes. Richardson also manages four employees.
