LAKE ELSINORE, CA   The United States Postal Service is considering the relocation of services from Lake Elsinore Post Office, 500 W. Graham Ave., Lake Elsinore, CA 92530, to a yet-to-be determined location as close as reasonably possible to the current location.

USPS is considering the relocation because it has outgrown its existing space and needs a larger facility to better serve the Lake Elsinore community.

A public meeting is planned for 5:00 p.m. April 12, 2018 at Lake Elsinore Culture Center, 183 N. Main St., Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. Postal officials will be on hand to explain the proposal and listen to comments from attendees.

The public will have 30 days after the meeting to submit written comments for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision. Please submit written comments to:

Dean Cameron
Pacific Facilities Service Office
U.S. Postal Service
1300 Evans Ave., Ste. 200
San Francisco, CA 94188-8200

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
