PALO ALTO, CA — The U.S. Postal Service will hold a public meeting to announce the need to relocate retail services from the current East Palo Alto branch office at 1600 Bay Road, East Palo Alto, CA 94303.
The meeting will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018, at 6:00pm, at the Municipal Center-Community Room, 2425 University Ave., East Palo Alto, CA 94303.
The relocation is necessary because the landlord plans to redevelop the property and has decided not to renew the lease. The public meeting is part of the process the Postal Service must follow to gather input from the community and local officials on any relocation that will affect retail service to customers in the area.
The Postal Service invites the public to learn more about the “relocation project” to procure a suitable substitute location as close as reasonably possible to the current location. Postal officials will be on hand to discuss all future plans.
Customer input on this proposed relocation is welcome. For 30 days after the public meeting, anyone may submit written comments to the address below for the Postal Service to consider prior to any final decision.
