MOUNTAIN CENTER, CA — The Mountain Center Post Office, 29470 US Highway 243, remains temporarily closed due to the Cranston Fire.

Postal customers in Mountain Center are reminded they can pick up mail at the San Jacinto Post Office, 315 E. Esplanade Ave., San Jacinto, CA 92185. Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Customers are reminded to bring proper photo ID in order to make mail and package pickups.

Blue collection boxes are not being serviced in the affected areas while mandatory evacuations are in place. Customers are urged to bring all outgoing mail to the San Jacinto Post Office.
