The Bay-Valley postal district is hosting a free workshop on Sunday, August 26, 2018, to demonstrate the step-by-step online application process on www.usps.com/careers. There are current openings as a City Carrier Assistant (CCA) throughout the postal district, and the workshop will include a full description of those duties.
The workshop will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at following location:

Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV 2-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
Applicants should bring a photo ID, valid driver’s license, Social Security Card or birth certificate; and males a Selective Service registration number. Veterans should bring their DD214 for veterans’ preference.
