The Bay-Valley postal district is hosting a free workshop on Sunday, September 9, 2018, to help future career employees navigate the online application process on www.usps.com/careers. Interviews will be conducted onsite.
There are immediate openings in the Contra Costa, Napa, Solano, Santa Clara and San Benito counties.
Registration, which can be done at www.eventbrite.com, will begin at 8:30 AM and the workshop will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the following location:

Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma or GED. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV 2-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
Applicants should bring a photo ID, valid driver’s license, Social Security Card or birth certificate; and males a Selective Service registration number. Veterans should bring their DD214 for veterans’ preference.
